The North Coast Ecology Centre and the BC Environmental Film Festival are collaborating to bring some amazing nature films to Prince Rupert and the North!

The films will be shown at the Lester Centre of the Arts on March 5th, March 19th and April 2nd.
Tickets are $15/night or $35 for all three nights.

March 19th Film: Snk̓míp Dig Deeper

• Snk̓míp Dig Deeper (Canada, 2025, 60 minutes) follows a rare collaboration between settler-led Valhalla Foundation for Ecology and the Autonomous Sinixt, led by Matriarch Marilyn James. As tensions rise with off-road vehicle users opposed to habitat protection, the film explores deeper conflicts between colonial land ownership and Indigenous law, dominator culture and nature-first values, erasure and resurgence.  Snk’mip Dig Deeper | BCEFF Online 2025
