Climate Plan Presentation and Community Feedback

February 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Prince Rupert Climate Adaptation and Action Plan the City’s effort to integrate considerations related to the climate crisis into our work to renew infrastructure, invest in our community, and improve our resilience to climate hazards. Now, more than ever, we want to ensure that the investments of today make sense for the community of tomorrow. We must ensure our community is prepared to face of the impacts of the climate crisis, including heavy storms, floods, and heat waves.

Join us for an evening at the Prince Rupert Library to hear more about our work developing a Climate Plan for our community, and provide feedback to City staff and our consulting partners at SSG.

The event will run from 7 pm – 8:30 pm, and light refreshments will be provided.

We’re excited to hear your thoughts about our planning work so far, and what matters to you most.
