SHOP LOCAL HOLIDAY PASSPORT

Tourism Prince Rupert is excited to bring you the Shop Local event of the year — a fun and festive way to support local businesses this holiday season!

From December 5th to 21st, visit any of the 30 participating stores and collect a stamp in your Shop Local Passport with each purchase. You must collect 3 stamps to receive your first entry, and each additional stamp you earn after that is an additional entry into our cash prize draws at the end of the campaign!

Some stores are also offering exclusive deals, giveaways, or special perks, so there’s even more reason to explore, shop, and celebrate local this season.

Passports will be mailed directly to Prince Rupert households, and each participating business will display a Shop Local window decal to help you spot where to shop and stamp.

Let’s make this holiday season merry, bright, and right here at home — by supporting the local shops that make Prince Rupert special.

CONTEST RULES AND GUIDELINES

Getting involved in the Shop Local Holiday Passport Campaign is easy — and rewarding! Here’s everything you need to know:

Look for the Decal: Each participating business will have a Shop Local window decal displayed on their front door or window so you can easily spot where to shop.
Get Your Passport: Passports will be mailed out to all homes and businesses across Prince Rupert. Extra copies will also be available at each participating shop.
Shop & Stamp: Every time you make a purchase at a participating business, you’ll receive a stamp in your passport. (Purchases are required to earn stamps.)
Earn Entries: You’ll need a minimum of 3 stamps to qualify for the prize draw. Each additional stamp counts as one extra entry — so the more you shop, the better your chances!

Prizes:

1st Prize: $200 + a swag bag
2nd Prize: $100 + a swag bag
3rd & 4th Prizes: $50 each + a swag bag

Submit Your Passport

Drop off your completed passport at the Prince Rupert Visitor Centre (100–215 Cow Bay Road), or upload a photo of your completed passport online using the submission button below.
Deadline: Passports can be dropped off in person up until 4:00pm December 23rd, 2025 and can be submitted online until end of day December 31st, 2025.
Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on January 2nd, 2026 and will be available for pick up January 5th, 2026 at the Prince Rupert Visitor Centre (100–215 Cow Bay Road).
