Located in Prince Rupert’s Cow Bay, Saltwater Bakery & Provisions is a welcoming stop for freshly baked breads, pastries, croissants, and other baked goods made in-house.

The name Saltwater reflects both the simple ingredients used to make the bread, salt and water, and the bakery’s Gitxaała Nation ownership. Gitxaała is also known as Git Lax M’oon, People of the Saltwater, creating a natural connection between the bakery’s name, its products, and the Nation that owns it through Gitxaała Enterprises Corporation.

The bakery also offers to go coffee, breakfast, and lunch options, along with a selection of provisions and souvenirs to enjoy during your visit or take with you. Guests can also enjoy house-made ice cream by the scoop or pick up a carton to go.
