Seafest is arguably the biggest community event of the year in Prince Rupert and for good reason! This annual event is held the second weekend of June and 2026 will mark the 48th year.
Festivities kick off on Friday and continue all the way to Sunday.
Seafest is organized by the Prince Rupert Special Events Society.

“Whale Tails and Ocean Trails” Inspired by the beauty and adventure of our coastal home, this theme celebrates everything we love about life on the water — from the majestic whales just offshore to the winding trails that connect our community to the ocean.
Whether you’re planning a float, costume, booth, or activity, we invite you to dive into the theme and get creative! Think ocean wildlife, marine adventures, coastal exploration, and all things that make Prince Rupert so special.
