ABOUT THE EVENT

This is a forum rather than a debate. Candidates answer the same questions in turn with equal speaking time. There is no cross-examination between candidates and no rebuttals. The purpose is to give voters a clear picture of how each of they think about the district, not to set candidates against one another.
The evening runs about 90 minutes and will finish by 8:30, followed by dessert and coffee. We ask that candidates stay afterward for informal conversation with parents and community members — for many people that will be the most valuable part of the evening.
