Prince Rupert Community Energy Open House
February 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Are you interested in the future of energy in Prince Rupert?
Share your thoughts and ideas for Prince Rupert’s energy future at a community conversation convened by the Northern Regional Energy Dialogues Project (NRED). DINNER and refreshments will be provided!
This gathering is centered on community benefit, community ownership, and local voice. Our goal is simply to listen and learn from the people who know Prince Rupert best. We want to better understand the priorities, concerns, and opportunities that matter most to you when it comes to energy in your community.
NRED is working alongside communities across northern British Columbia and as part of the project’s first phase, we are hosting community-level conversations across the region to gather local perspectives and priorities related to energy. This session will provide an opportunity to:
-
Share insights on local energy priorities and challenges
-
Discuss ideas for community-owned and community-driven energy opportunities/planning
-
Contribute to shaping future regional energy dialogues that support collaboration, peer learning, and capacity-building in northern BC
DINNER and refreshments will be provided! All perspectives are welcome. Whether you’re curious, supportive, cautious, or simply interested in learning more, we hope you’ll join the conversation.
