Prince Rupert Community Arts Council is proud to present the first annual lantern making and festival event.
Our lantern festival/walkabout will be the evening following the City of Prince Rupert Prince Rupert Port Authority and North Coast Ecology Centre Society’s Earth Day event occurring from 12pm-3pm (we’ll have a table where you can make a lantern!) in Seal Cove on Sunday, April 21st. We will be meeting at the new bridge to show off all of our spiffy creations. Come back down to see the twinkle of the lanterns and celebrate as we head into ‘lighter days’.
Please note that the time was originally posted for 7pm, and has been amended to 8:30 pm so that it’s dark enough to see the lanterns! (Thanks, daylight savings!)
