What is a Death Cafe you ask? I’m so glad you asked.

A Death Cafe is an opportunity to enjoy a tea or coffee together with a slice of cake whilst discussing death. As we know only too well, not everyone is comfortable talking about death, be it their own pending death, a loved one’s pending death, or simply talking about death out loud.

A Death Cafe allows those who are comfortable talking about death, a safe place to share their thoughts and/or fears with no agenda, objectives or themes. None of us can outrun death. The sooner we all become comfortable talking about death, the sooner those “hard conversations” become a thing of the past.

Please note: this is a discussion group on death rather than a grief support or counselling session.

No need to register – simply drop by for a coffee and to chat about death. Bring a friend!
