DESCRIPTION:Did you know Prince Rupert has the highest urban child poverty rates in BC – 25.9% compared to the provincial average of 16.7%?We want to make sure every student has access to healthy\, local food – and you can help!Even just $5 helps put fresh\, local salmon on school lunch tables\, while teaching kids about nutritious food and the incredible resources in our own community.If you are interested in donating\, please send me a private message or email food@ecotrust.ca for ways to donate. All funds go directly to SD52 Salmon in Schools to purchase salmon for kids.Every little bit counts. Together\, we can make a real difference for kids in our community!
