SUMMARY:KidsAction Coaching: Walking with families
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to gather\, connect\, and learn about KidsAction Coaching. \nKidsAction Coaching is an evidence-based approach by researchers at the University of British Columbia in collaboration with the Indigenous Sport\, Physical Activity\, and Recreation Council (I•SPARC). We provide resources that can work with existing physical activity programs for children with neurodevelopmental and intellectual disabilities\, to help get kids moving and feeling accepted\, included\, and celebrated. We are hoping to host TWO information sessions: Sunday August 18th from 6:30-8:30pm AND Monday August 19th from 1-3pm. Snacks\, coffee\, tea\, and juice will be available. \nOther days between the 18th and morning of the 21st would work as well if there is limited availability. \nVenue: Civic Centre \nOrganizer: Kate Ortwein
