DESCRIPTION:Learn about the action being taken to tackle invasive European Green Crab on the #NorthCoast.\n\n\n\nJoin us Wednesday April 10th at 7:30PM in the Port Interpretive Centre for the final installment of the North Coast Ecology Centre Society‘s Coastal Conversations 2024 seminar series.\n\n\nOur final Coastal Conversations Lecture of the year will be on Wednesday\, April 10th! The topic of this lecture is the European Green Crabs. These crabs are invasive to Canada and the US. Since their arrival to southern British Columbia in 1998\, they have continually expanded their range. Learn from Tom Therriault and Mark Potyrala with DFO about these crabs\, their impacts to native ecosystems and what is being done about it!
