SUMMARY:Teens: Creative Minds
DESCRIPTION:The Museum of Northern British Columbia is especially happy to be able to bring you our next exhibit in the Ruth Harvey Art Gallery\, Teens: Creative Minds\, as it is in keeping with one of the Museum’s 100th anniversary themes – looking to the future and the role of today’s young people in shaping it. \nExplore the teenage brain and gain insight into its inherent creativity. Meet a dozen Canadian teenagers who have used their innovative minds to make the world a better place. Discover 12 inventions\, including: a robotic heart that beats according to the patient’s level of exertion; a bad weather collector that transforms the energy created by rain and bad weather into electricity; the first super hero\, Superman. \nNavigate an obstacle course blindfolded wearing a belt equipped with ultrasound sensors; write sentences using Bliss-characters\, an Ideographic language; take a quiz to discover your personality type\, and much more. \nVenue: Museum of Northern BC \nOrganizer: Museum of Northern BC
